FINAL REPORT



Acknowledgment
Assalammualaikum.. First of all we would like to say, special thank goes to our lecturer, Chef Zaid that have guide us from the start until the end of this subject, in this food innovation and design, we have train to make an experiment that to ensure the combination of food just to satisfy the element and create it as a new recipe. Alhamdulillah we are satisfied with all the experiment that we have made from start until the end on this subject.

Introduction
In this food innovation and design, we have given a three idea of the experiment and we have choose the second idea that have name it as (brownies cream caramel) is the combination of brownies and cream caramel. This experiment is to know the combination element of cake and cold dessert.

Objective
Our main objective of this experiment is to ensure the two elements of cake and cold dessert that to know it is can combine or not. With the method and standardize recipe, we can prove this two element can combine and make it as a new innovation recipe. From this new recipe, we try to make it in a new market list, so that we can innovate and try a new recipe in a market.

Activity
From the start, Chef Zaid have give us to create a three main idea to choose in our experiment, so, from the three idea from us, Chef Zaid have choose the brownies cream caramel to do in our experiment. So in every week, we try to create a combination of two element to make is as perfect as well. After doing the test in every week, we choose the best method and idea to present in our final presentation.

Our 1st experiment (week 1) - The first experiment, we’ll combine the two recipes and bake (water bath).
Our 2nd experiment (week 2) - This is the second week; we try to put the brownies on the base and the cream caramel on the top.
Our 3rd experiment (week 3) - This is the third week; we try to put the brownies on the base and for the cream caramel we try to add the ingredients with custard powder and put on the top of the brownies.
Our 4th experiment (week 4) - we choose one of the best and prepared for the final week. And we choose experiment week 3. And this is what we going to do on final week.
Our 5th experiment (week 5) - This is the fifth week; we choose one of the best and prepared for the final week. And we choose experiment week 3. After discuss with Chef Zaid and group member, this is what we going to do on final week.

The body
After all the experiment that we have did, we choose the best experiment to present in our final presentation, so we make a final touch to create a perfect brownies cream caramel to present in final. In final, we have to pick up a random 10 person to test our product around the campus. So we have prepared a comment sheet for our product to them comment and judge our final product.

ORGANIZATION CHART
Simple organization chart. For us, as a  team, we don’t have “who’s the BOSS” problem. Because as a best friend, we work as a team and make the thing simple and pleasant. No stress while working :)


Task implementation

Before event day
Base the order from Chef Zaid, we have to prepare our product a week before the final presentation, so we have set up the mise-en-place and all ingredient to make our final product, so we have complete the product a week before and chill it in refrigerator to make the brownies cream caramel stable and ready to present.

During the event day
When the product in ready to present, we have make a final touch to make it perfect and ready to present to other, so this is the picture during the event.
















After the event day
When we have finish give our product to 10 tester, we have give a comment sheet to comment our product, so this all the comment from our 10 tester,

Problem faced
From the test that we have, the problem that we made is about our product is too dry because we have over bake our brownies and it doesn’t moist.

Recommendation
We would recommend that our product can be more delicious if we add some topping example, chocolate topping or caramel sauce.

Conclusion
Based on our class, we are satisfied with our experiment product that we’ve made so far. if we have our leisure time together, we will proceed and put more focus with our product to the worldwide.

WEEK 5


This is the fifth week; we choose one of the best and prepared for the final week. And we choose experiment week 3. And this is what we going to do on final week.


This is the ingredient for cream caramel:

Water      
50ml
Castor Sugar
100gm
B
Castor Sugar

Egg
2nos
Egg Yolk
4nos
C
Fresh Milk
250ml
Essence Vanilla
¼ tsp
Yellow colouring
A bit
Custard powder
3 tbsp

Preparation :

1.                             Hot the saucepan and put ingredients A after it turn into brown, switch of the fire and add water. Then put in cases. Let it cold and set aside.
2.                     Mix B ingredients with whisk. Whisk slowly and make sure it is not bubbling.
3.                    Then combine C ingredients and pour into the custard cases.

Cake flour
200gm
Soda bicarbonate
5gm
Baking powder

Fresh milk
200ml
Whipping cream
50ml

Chocolate chip
Almond nips

Preparation :

1.                          First beat the ingredients A until we get the creamy method.
2.                    Then pour ingredient B and beat slowly.
3.                    After it becomes creamy, put the ingredient C slowly and continue beat.
4.                    And pour ingredients D slowly and continue beat .
5.                    Last, add the chocolate chips and almond nips.


For the cream caramel


This is the ingredient for cream caramel

This is the ingredients for chocolate brownies

Hot the saucepan and put the milk and sugar.

Add essence vanilla.

Beat the eggs. 



And pour into the milk. And put 3tbsp custard powder.

 Stir until it thickens.

For the brownies.
First put butter into a big mixing bowl.

Then add sugar.

Beat the butter and sugar until it becomes creamy method. Then pour eggs and beat  again.
Add cake flour.

Add cocoa powder.

Add almond nips.

After it baked.

And pour the cream caramel on top of the brownies and sprinkling with chocolate chip and brown sugar.

After baked.
